About Us

CCI, LLC is a family owned commercial floor covering company operating out of a 15,000 sq.ft. facility on the Westside of Indianapolis.  CCI, LLC was founded by Otto A. Kolditz.

Otto immigrated to the United States in 1960.  He started working for a Milwaukee shoe factory, and from there he owned his own Pizzeria.  Otto became a U.S. citizen in 1969.  He continued his education at Purdue University.  Because of his training in meteorology with the Royal Dutch Navy, Otto was offered a job with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.   Otto was the lead forecaster at the National Weather Service for 25 years.

During this time Otto was also interested in home building and development.  In his spare time he worked on various housing and land development projects.  While working on the various developments he realized that the industry needed better flooring solutions. In 1993 Otto founded CCI, LLC.
